Hey everybody what's going on? (I feel like I've said that like ten times today) I don't really have anything new to say except that tomorrow it's my day off! Woo! I'll be going in to Flin Flon again of course, but that's not very exciting to anyone else. I'm going to get a manicure..I need it so badly :(...I know I sound like such a baby. So I should be sleeping right now because I want to stay up tonight for once...laters!

This is my mass email

I'd rather not repeat it all so, here's my mass email:

Hey hey everyone! First of all thanks for all the birthday messages. don't worry if they were belated, I only checked my email today for the first time in a week. Sorry I haven't written many personal emails (one i think). I'm trying not to tie up the fax line and computer too badly. Everyone here has to check their email too. But yeah, it was nice for once to check my inbox and find more personal emails than hotornot emails ;).

So my birthday. Was really good. Um, it started off pretty normal. It was obviously a good day because it was my birthday. Then I got back to my room to change and my package was there! woo! I was so excited. The rest of the day the girls that I work with were acting all funny (obviously) and my boss was going into town, so of course they had to stop off at the office and talk to her. Then before supper, Charrisa, the pastry girl was like..'oh my goodness, i forgot barbeque sauce upstairs, jen will you please go and grab it?!'. ( we were having...something that didn't need bbq sauce for supper)...so i just give her a grin and putter upstairs (with a golf cart!) to get the bbq sauce. I learnt later that i did it too fast and they had barely enough time to wrap my present, i only got the card days afterward because they couldn't find it in the rush. So we sit down to supper, and when dessert comes, it has a sparkler in it and they're all singing happy birthday.aww. and they give me the presents which are some magazines, candy, a nice candle and microwave popcorn because we were going to watch dirty dancing that night. weird movie by the way. any way then at guest supper, after Ike was done handing out master angler pins and such, Liz walks in and says I have a birthday, and all the guests sing happy birthday. Geez, i was sooo embarrased. There are pictures by the way, not that any of you will see them. So that was my birthday. Tomorrow it's Charissa's birthday and we've been shopping for the last two days for it. Anyway..

Um, today was my day off, and I slept and I mean slept in til 7:45 and I wasn't tired at all after that, but I didn't have a nap today so I'm pretty tired right now. At about 11 i drove into flin flon and even though it was sunday almost everything was open. Well, the places I wanted to go to. So I went to walmart and extra foods, and I didn't even get lost that badly. I know my way around there pretty well by now. Now, i'm just checking email and then I'll finish cleaning up our room. Now we have a 'beer' fridge and everything, and lots of food. (the guys call it our beer fridge) I did a few loads of laundry...with fabric softener..woo! that's exciting for me. Mmm, i had mcdonalds and subway when i was in flin flon today...also very exciting for me. :)

So, if you all didn't know. My day starts at 5, or rather that's when I wake up. Breakfast at 6, guest breakfast at 7, cleaning up til 8:30 or so, and we start cleaning cabins at about 9-9:30 and usually finish by lunch, depending on how many guests there are and how many are leaving that day. lunch whenever usually at 12, and then we clean up after that. There are some odd jobs to finish so after that, we have a break til supper and I usually nap from about 2-4:30 or so.supper from 5:30 til about 9 or 9:30 and then we come back upstairs (actually it's just uphill) where our rooms are, and where we also watch TV. when we first got here, we usually went straight to bed, but lately, I've been watching movies and TV til about midnight because it really sucks to just work and sleep. It feels less like that's all we do. Does that make any sense?

So holly I wish I could come to your party..i think it's even on my day off...so if someone wants to come get me the evening before....:) yeah right right? Yeah and you all are free to call me..it's 358-7171. If anyone wants to visit they also can...during the end of july or anytime in august you can come camping to grass river provincial campground right on the same shore as our lodge. You probably won't see me much though. Anyway, how are things where you are? I'm feeling very out of loopy.

So, as for the fishing? I don't know if it means anything, but i think we've had at least 200 trophy fish so far this season...it means nothing to me. If they're happy, i'm happy. Lately, we've been having some pretty cold rainy weather, so not a lot of shorts have made an appearance.

Hey, hey...so it's about time I add something hey? Well this is the first time I'm using the internet in about a week so, I'm a little rusty. I've only been here for...ooh 18 days i think...and it feels like a lifetime. Each day feels like a week. Getting up at 5 is only getting harder. Well it was sure hard this morning after last night's hockey game went into overtime. Geez, and they didn't even win. Stayed up an extra 20 minutes, and then 30 seconds into it they score geez. I saw geez and eh quite a bit now. Many influences. It could be worse though, much much worse. Anyway, I've learned so so much since starting here it's unreal. I'm thinking about getting a waitressing job when I get back to the city. Very very part time though, I just want to learn to be a better waitress. Funny how priorities change. I don't really want to be a waitress, if you know what I mean, I just like having certain skills. Don't get worried, but I'm really starting to like the smell of pine sol lately. I've been on bathroom duty the last few days, and cleaning about 15 bathrooms in the morning. Better that than vacuuming. Anyhoo, I guess today is Eva's wedding huh? Well, in about an hour anyway. I wonder if my mom is going. hmm. I've called my mom a few times, mostly about stuff I want her to sent me though. My package is being sent today and getting here tomorrow. It'll be pretty huge. My birthday is on Tuesday. (shh!) I think I might get thrown in the lake. Might, we'll see. Which would be bad because the ice only cleared off last week sometime. I've alreaded waded in it a few times when it's been hot and called crazy for that, but what can you do. But it really hasn't been that warm here yet. Anyway, i've got to take a nap this afternoon because we're going to watch Dirty Dancing tonight. laters!
